Flow Map Lab

Here is my flow map lab. The flow of the arrows was a little hard for me to get the hang of but I eventually did. I am still feeling my way around with using AI. Hopefully I will get better sooner than later.

Module 8

Here is my map for housing densisty by County in Florida. This lab was a beast to do. It was not so much hard aas very tedious. Using Adobe Illustrator via Argus can be very slow at time. Nevertheless I finsihed and I am happy with my work.

Module 7 - Wine Consumption in Europe

Here is my lab for module 7. I had some issues trying to display all the Country names and proportional circles. I am still having a hard time adapting quickly to AI but feel like I am starting to get the hang of using the program.

Module 6 Lab

Here is my first map of Percentage change of population by State. This lab was very hard. I am having a difficult time learning to use Adobe Illustrator. This lab was educational but it took me a while to figure everything out.

Here is my second map which is broken down by Census divisions. I had a lot of trouble with my labels or states moving around unlocked to each other. I need to better learn how to use the group and lock features of AI.

Four Data Classification Maps

Most Appropriate Map - Quantile
I believe the Quantile map is the most appropriate data classification for the percentage of blacks in Escambia County. I believe it is the most appropriate because it best portrays the data along the number line. Also, compared to the other data classification maps, the Quantile map is the most user friendly for visually displaying the percentage differences within the County.
